By - 11 November 2015

Lottery Córdoba has now opened Ansenuza Hotel Casino and Spa in Miramar, a city on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, south of Buenos Aires.

The world-class venture has opened with a modern casino, spa, golf course with nine holes, a spa and 60 rooms overlooking the lagoon Mar Chiquita.

The Governor of Cordoba, Dr. Jose Manuel de la Sota, the National Senator, Adriana Nazario and the Minister of Infrastructure, Manuel Calvo shared the ribbon cutting along with executives from Córdoba Lottery.

Marta Zabala, Head of the Lottery of Cordoba, said: “The hotel is one of the best in the province, meeting the objectives of the Governor, who want other private investors to follow this initiative and improve their hotels for guests. I think this will help Miramar become one of the most important points of our province. It has taken a year and six-months to construct. The hotel has opened with 30 rooms with the aim being to build another 30.”

Adrian Walker, Mayor of the town of Miramar, added: “The impact will be very important. I think this is part of our Governor’s vision to enlist this type of development to change the future of our region. It is a leap in quality that will attract tourists from all over the world.”

The project was launched by De la Sota in February 2013 and has seen an investment of $40m from Lottery Córdoba.
