Australia – Crown axes 200 jobs in Perth

Crown Resorts has made 200 people redundant at its Perth casino inWest Australian.
The operator said that difficult trading conditions had resulted in ‘a number of’ redundancies in the group.
“Crown’s priority is to support those affected by these changes. Five-thousand, five-hundred people continue to work at Crown Perth and we have a strong commitment to their development and welfare,” a spokeswoman said.
Crown is looking to reduce its domestic overheads having reduced its exposure in foreign markets.
