Belgium – Partouche offloads Casino de Chaudfontaine

Having sold its Knokke and Dinant casinos in 2014, Groupe Partouche has now offloaded another casino in Belgium.
Holding company Belcasinos, a subsidiary of the French casino operator, has completed the sale of the Belgian casino Chaudfontaine, sold for a price of €10m. There are no class A license + (internet) attached to the licence. In the year ended October 31, 2014, the 130 slot Casino de Chaudfontaine generated gross gaming revenue of €6.8m.
With the sale of the Garden Beach Hotel in Juan-les-Pins, this new step in the divestment plan of the group brings the total sales made in the current year to €40m.
In the last three years, Partouche had laid off 21 members of staff from the casino. The new owner is called Gerard Glorieux who owns SGS Invest and Star Casino, an operator of 16 arcade locations across Belgium and a holder of an internet gaming licence.
