Gateway Casinos & Entertainment has confirmed that the Grand Villa Edmonton will open its doors to the public on Wednesday, September 7 at 7pm.

Gateway’s newest property in ICE District will have 60,000 square feet of entertainment space, 24 gaming tables and 600 slots; the Grand Villa will be an exceptional addition to Edmonton’s vibrant and rejuvenated downtown.

Hosted by Edmonton’s very own Jason Strudwick, guests will have a first look at ICE District’s incomparable entertainment destination. ICE District will be the largest mixed-use sports and entertainment district in Canada and is already projecting an energy and feeling unlike anything Edmonton has seen before. “We are thrilled to announce the date for the Grand Opening of the Grand Villa,” said Tony Santo, CEO of Gateway. “I am excited to show Edmonton and all of Alberta our premier destination for entertainment, dining and gaming. Grand Villa will truly have something for everyone.”

Gateway owns 18 properties, has over 3,800 employees and operates 200 tables and over 6,100 slots machines, 36 restaurants and 1000 hotel rooms.
