Canada – Novomatic in THE ZONE in Quebec

The eagerly anticipated launch of Casino du Lac Leamy’s ‘THE ZONE’ took place on June 13th in Québec, Canada. This was the culmination of an unique project undertaken by Loto Québec to provide the first auditorium style electronic gaming arena in North America. The project brief incorporated a dedicated area of 40 electronic gaming terminals laid out in a formation facing a large stage area where live hosts drive a selection of games. Huge screens and dramatic lighting complete the spectacular setting.
Having made a considerable investment in this state-of-the-art gaming concept, Loto Québec wanted to ensure that they chose the best electronic table game product available. After an extensive search of the market place including a customer and employee focus group to evaluate the terminals and platform being considered, Loto Québec selected TCSJohnHuxley to supply Novomatic’s Novo Line Novo Unity II game platform and terminals. Over the course of 18 months the teams worked together on new game ideas, development and the necessary approvals. The initial order consisted of 40 NOVOSTAR SL1 slant top terminals, Auto Wheels, Saturn Roulette Wheels and Game Servers with a combination of Novo TouchBet Live-Roulette/Novo Multi-Roulette™, Novo TouchBet® Live-Baccarat, Novo TouchBet Live-Black Jack and a suite of video slot games based on Novo Line Novo Unity II.
