China – Quixant launching new PCAP Monitors at G2e Asia

By - 4 May 2016

Quixant will be exhibiting its latest range of computer gaming platforms and monitors at the upcoming edition of G2E Asia 2016 from May 17 to 19.

There are many types of monitors and choosing the correct one specifically for your gaming application can be a challenging decision. Quixant’s standard and designed-for-purpose gaming monitors can help you to improve the quality of your game content with exceptional colour reproduction that really brings your games to life.

Key competitive advantages of Quixant’s monitors are; high quality panels, colour calibration that can be set up by default at our factory for outstanding colour accuracy and image quality, bespoke gaming configurations designed to meet customer form-factor requirements, wide angle display, open-frame which fit seamlessly within the cabinet and multiple connectivity options.

Quixant’s gaming monitor range is specifically designed to meet the requirements of the latest video gaming machines. Our monitors offer a set of features that maximise their performance when used with our all-in-one PC gaming boards. Quixant has developed the innovate Q-Port interface which allows a Quixant Q-Port monitor to be connected to a Q-Port enabled Quixant computer gaming platform via a single DisplayPort cable. This dramatically reduces the cabinet wiring complexity.

Andreas Behr, Gaming Monitor Director at Quixant Germany said: “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to show some of our new PCAP Monitors, including the new 23.8” 4K monitor with LED stripes. A wonderful example of our leading monitor technology.”

Quixant will also be showcasing its newest embedded PC platforms: QMax-1 and QXi-6000; “all-in-one” gaming platforms that utilize the latest AMD Embedded R-Series “Merlin Falcon” SoC with integrated AMD Radeon HD 10000 graphics.

Both the QMax-1 and QXi-6000 offer PCI Express based gaming I/O and NVRAM facilitating all the features which are required to drive regulatory compliant gaming machines in all major gaming jurisdictions. Use of the ultra-fast PCI Expre bus provides a significant increase in available bandwidth for accessing gaming I/O and SRAM/MRAM, enabling improved connectivity and throughput with peripheral components. This enables the customer to freely focus on game development and minimise time-to-market for their games.

“We are very excited to be back at G2E Asia this year with our range of all-in-one PC gaming platforms and our superior range of gaming monitors for the industry,” stated John Malin, Sales Director at Quixant UK.
