Estonia – Snowcat signs deal with Matchless Games

Snowcat Group has announced that one of its companies, Snowcat IP OÜ, has signed an agreement to become the
exclusive worldwide long-term Master Licensee for the entire library of Game Concept Intellectual Property created and held by Matchless Games Limited, a UK-based gaming innovator.
Snowcat IP OÜ is a company with the commercial purpose of developing, licensing or otherwise securing licenses for Intellectual Property Rights and subsequently re-licensing or sub-licensing those Rights for further development, integration, marketing and exploitation into gaming and entertainment products and systems.
Matchless Games Limited is a company which has been progressively building a library of innovative concepts and content for all aspects of the gaming and entertainment industries over many years.
Snowcat’s Mitchell Rankin said that the contents of the library were unique, innovative and exciting. “Matchless Games has repeatedly come up with concepts which are enhancements of existing ideas as well as new concepts which are entirely original and ‘outside-the-box’ while still being simple and fun to players,” Mr. Rankin explained. “Various concepts can be used across lottery, online and mobile markets, slots and VLTs, as well as live dealer, social and table markets – with card, dice, virtual and other concepts included.”
Matchless Games’ Ian MacKinnon said that they had reached the agreement with Snowcat because of a long-standing industry relationship with the Group’s founders and because of the breadth and depth of industry contact and exposure this agreement would bring for the Matchless Games team. “Snowcat have shown us, many times and in many ways, that they are the right people for us to trust with this valuable material – they will put it into the right markets and the right development hands. We’re very pleased with their plans and progress”.
Snowcat is already in discussions with various industry partners about sub-licensing various pieces of the material and expects to make a number of further announcements in a very short timeframe.
