By - 20 February 2015

With a host of installs on the horizon at some of the continent’s most glittering casinos, the European slot sector has certainly opened up for Aruze Gaming in recent years.

Whilst 2014 saw some notable installs in France and Portugal for Aruze, 2015 will get underway with some exciting deals with SBM in Monte Carlo, Casino di Venezia in Italy and with Aland-based operator PAF on its five-star superyacht Sunborn Hotel in Gibraltar.

Albert Yu, Assistant General Manager responsible for Asia and Europe, was naturally delighted. „We’ve taken some really good market share in Europe over the last year or so,“ he said. „The caliber of operator choosing our games in Europe is really pleasing too. We’ve got Lucky Big Wheel & Innovator Deluxe steppers going to Monte Carlo, Innovator steppers & Ultra Stacks videos going to Venice, and more Innovator & Innovator Deluxes gonig to Sunborn. I can‘t wait to see how the various markets respond to games that have proven huge hits in the States and all over Asia. We’ve got a whole host of new games on show here, all of which are really unique. The feedback we’re getting is really pleasing.“
The heart-filled I-DELUXE title, Hot Hearts was on show for the first time at ICE. Equipped with five reels and 30 lines of 7 symbols & 2x WILD symbols, this deluxe stepper offers non-stop fun and anticipation with a romantic gaming atmosphere. With an opportunity of being awarded up to seven Heart Prize selections, this recommended penny denomination offers players several different possibilities of winning combinations.

Following the same format of five reels and 30 lines of stacked WILD symbols, shooting stars, and a spinning star as a topper, Crazy Stars adds a brand new play mechanic to the I-DELUXE arsenal. Dark Samurai was also on show with its Ninja Wheel Bonus containing four kinds of bonus games and three kinds of credit awards. The Battle Bonus sees players select cards to fight an opponent.

With more slot operators looking to select steppers and stackers from Aruze, the battle for Europe’s slot floors is also warming up.
