France – Partouche up 5.2 per cent in fourth quarter

By - 20 December 2017

French operator Groupe Partouche has reported a strong fourth quarter highlighting the success it has had with its electronic table games.

Partouche said it had ‘recorded a very satisfactory evolution in its activity’ with profit up 5.2 per cent, reaching €172.5m and revenue up six per cent to €102.6m. Partouche added: “We have notably benefited from the great success of our recently relocated casinos, such as Pleinair de La Ciotat and Casino 3.14 in Cannes.”

It added that the increase has been driven by a €8.5m increase in revenue from traditional games, particularly in their electronic form. The hotel sector remains strongly impacted by the closure of the 3.14 hotel Cannes with revenues down by €0.8m. Over the year, the hotel sector was down 21.2 per cent, with sales of €9.8m.
