By - 19 June 2017

Groupe Partouche has reported a first half-year decline of around two per cent.

The French operator’s GGR came in at €205m for the first half of 2017 compared to € 210.3m a year earlier.

Partouche said the first half of the year was ‘impacted by the implementation of a national customer loyalty program as of 1 November 2016. This measure has an impact of €1.8m on half-year turnover.’
It added that the ‘closure in Cannes of a hotel for works since November 1, 2016, which impacted the turnover of € 0.5m.’

It added that the ‘marked decline in activity of traditional games at the Palm Beach casino in Cannes, where GGR was down € 3.8m.’

It said that due to these three elements,’a very small decline in turnover would have been recorded.’
