G2E – Quixant showing its gaming EcoSystem

By - 17 September 2016

Quixant will be showcasing its Gaming Ecosystem which is one of the major benefits for customers who adopt the range of products for their machines.

Quixant’s Gaming Ecosystem integrates a secure BIOS, PCI Express gaming I/O, high performance NVRAM and communication devices with peripheral device drivers and gaming protocol libraries such as SAS 6.02. We even can provide example code and OS images for Windows and Linux. This “total solution” approach enables our customers to focus on their core expertise – creating market-leading games. Quixant takes care of the hardware and low-level software that are essential ingredients but do not add value or differentiate in terms of the success of the game. Quixant will be running live technology demos to showcase its Gaming EcosystemT on the stand.

Amit Sharma, General Manager and Vice President of Sales at Quixant USA, said:“Quixant’s Gaming Ecosystem combines advanced gaming hardware and software which Quixant has developed and integrated across the whole range of platforms, at all price points. This enables portability of games to any platform in the range without changing the platform software. This is a major benefit of Quixant’s Gaming Ecosystem.”

Also on the booth, Quixant will debut new higher performance discrete graphics card options for the QMax platform which will support up to 8GB of GDDR5 video memory. These new graphics cards will provide a significant increase in the graphics processing horsepower available to drive the latest generation of 4K games.
Quixant’s full range of gaming platform products will be on display, including the latest 4K-enabled ultra high-end QMax-1 and mid-range QXi-6000, both of which are based on the AMD Embedded R-Series “Merlin Falcon” SoC. Also on show will be several popular models in the range including the QX-50, QXi-4000, QXi-300 and cost effective QXi-307.

Quixant will also demonstrate its complementary range of gaming monitors which are specifically tuned for the gaming industry. A variety of high-quality panels with wide viewing angles will be showcased including PCAP touchscreen monitors, LCD button decks and even dual-sided 55” monitors. The capabilities of Quixant’s 4K gaming platforms will be shown on Quixant’s 4K monitors and there will be a demonstration of the benefits of utilising AMD’s Freesync technology on the combination of a Quixant gaming platform and a Quixant monitor.
