Germany – EGT looks to increase presence in Germany

Euro Games Technology is looking to increase its share of the German slot and systems market with key meetings with members of the management of two of Germany’s biggest and most successful casino groups.

Erwin Horak, President of Staatliche Lotterieverwaltung Bayern, Josef Müller, Managing Director of Staatliche Lotterieverwaltung Bayern and Otto Wulferding, General Manager of Baden-Württembergische Spielbanken, all visited EGT headquarters in Sofia, Bulgaria to become better acquainted with the company and its products.

EGT’s first installation in Germany took place in 2009 at Spielbank Berlin. Since D-Systems took over the distribution of EGT products in Germany in 2010, the company has installed its equipment in most of the casino groups throughout the country.

Stanislav Stanev, EGT Director Sales & Marketing, said: “The success of our products comes as a result of our achievement to combine all into one – high quality, latest technologies and a stylish design.  2013 our brand new products have been introduces on the German market. The elegant P-24/24 upright cabinet with the Multi-games from our Premier Series has exceeded the expectation of every casino where it has been installed. The 4-level Progressive Jackpot System Cat4Cash has also had a very successful start and we foresee a promising future for this branded product of EGT in Germany.”

Emilia Tomachinska, Managing Director at D-Systems, added: “2013 has been the most successful year for the partnership of EGT and D-Systems. We have made a great number of installations in Germany and expect to expand EGT’s presence even more next year with Staatliche Lotterieverwaltung Bayern and Baden- Württembergische Spielbanken our side.”
