ICE – Quixant to launch QXi-400

By - 3 February 2017

Making its debut at ICE 2017 for Quixant will be the QXi-400 platform, combining cost-effectiveness with powerful, new-generation AMD processing technology, in an attractive package for advanced two-screen applications.

The QXi-400 utilises the latest AMD chipset to work with Linux and Windows 7, without the need to upgrade to Windows 10.

In addition, the middle range all-in-one, highly successful QXi-6000 will be on show. With support for up to three independent HD monitors, including 4K compatibility, the QXi-6000 utilises a high-specification AMD Embedded R- Series “Merlin Falcon” SoC housed in a fully fan-less enclosure.

Quixant’s full range of award winning gaming platforms and monitor solutions will be displayed on a redesigned stand (N1-520), including the 4K HD-enabled ultra-high-end QMax-1, operating in harmony with the new AMD Radeon E9260 “Coruja” discrete graphic card option.

The E9260 supports up to 8GB of GDDR5 video memory, and is the second product announcement in Quixant’s new QGCM series, which will allow users to select the perfect graphics card for their game application – whilst also providing opportunities for straightforward upgrading.

All of Quixant’s other platform solutions, such as the entry-level QXi-307, the versatile QXi-300, and multiplayer-supporting QX-50, will also be available for demonstration.

Quixant will be showcasing their extensive range of gaming monitors and cut-glass button decks at ICE Totally Gaming 2017. Specifically designed to meet the stringent requirements of the gaming industry, high-quality grade panels, wide viewing angles, LED backlighting, and advanced touchscreen technologies including PCAP, SCAP, SAW and IR, are available.

As with their platform technologies, Quixant’s display solutions are fully customisable depending on customer requirements.

“Over the last few years, ICE Totally Gaming has unquestionably become the premier global event for the gaming sector” stated John Malin, Sales Director at Quixant UK. “As such, it is a hugely important event for Quixant, both in terms of introducing our new technologies to the industry, and meeting with both existing and potential customers. We welcome you to join our team on our stand N1-520 at ICE 2017.”
