Isle of Man – PokerStars expands casino games offering across different jurisdictions

By - 16 October 2015

PokerStars has launched a huge range of new casino games across various licenses, ensuring that casino players can find the game that they want on PokerStars, an Amaya brand.

These new games are part of an ongoing plan to offer a wide range of fun and exciting casino games on PokerStars.

Players can now find their video poker game of choice on desktop and laptops, with games available across different stakes. Video Poker gives players the chance to win up to 4,000 times their bet. The games, which are available from the ‘Casino Tab’ in the PokerStars lobby, include several variations of video poker, including Deuces Wild, Double Bonus, Double Double Bonus, Joker Poker, and Jacks or Better.

The Slots game offering now totals 87, all of which are available on the PokerStars desktop software, with seven new Slots games available on PokerStars mobile, bringing the total available on PokerStars mobile to 16.

A new Blackjack game has been added to the PokerStars desktop software called HighHand Blackjack. In addition, new sidebet variations of Blackjack are now available, allowing players to wager on Perfect Pairs and 21+3. HighHandâ„¢ Blackjack is similar to a traditional game of Multiplayer Blackjack with an additional twist – a mandatory Pot Bet Wager that allows a peer-to-peer pot to be created and awarded at the completion of each hand. Perfect Pairs enables players to wager on whether their two cards will be paired, and 21+3 bets are optional wagers based upon the player’s own two cards, plus the dealer’s up-cards.

Multiplayer Blackjack has been deployed on PokerStars mobile apps, allowing players to play Blackjack with their friends (and strangers) on the same table from their mobile devices.

Spanish players on PokerStars are now able to access Slots, which significantly expands the variety of games available on the desktop version of PokerStars.es. Previously, only table casino games like Roulette and Blackjack were available in Spain.

“Slots are the most popular casino games on PokerStars globally, and we’re happy to now offer some of the most popular titles in the world to Spanish players,” said Sam Hobcraft, Director of Casino for PokerStars and Full Tilt.

Italian players can now play online casino games with real, live dealers at PokerStars on the desktop software. For years, Italian poker players have been able to chat with each other at the tables, and PokerStars players can now chat and interact with live dealers in Roulette and Blackjack games. The Italian rollout follows the successful introduction of Live Casino in Spain on PokerStars.es and PokerStars.com earlier this year.
