Italy – Italians place 10m bets a month on Inspired’s Virtual Sports

Since going live with its Virtual Sports products in Italy at the end of 2013, Inspired Gaming is reporting 10 million bets per month on its Virtual Sports products across retail, online and mobile channels.

Inspired’s Virtual Sports are currently available in 6,000 venues with Italy’s 5 leading concessionaires, but will soon be rolled out to all 10,000 contracted venues – increasing the reach and popularity of the products. 

Inspired is getting ready to showcase its exciting range of VLTs, Comma 6a, online and mobile gaming, and Virtual Sports Betting products for the Italian market at Enada Rimini, held March 19 to 21 2014.

In time for the World Cup, Inspired will launch a brand new upgraded version of its world leading Virtual Football product for Italian players in June with enhanced graphics and extra bet markets. Virtual Basketball, launched at ICE 2014, will also be coming soon to Italy. At Enada, Inspired will be showing its full range of 10 premium sports and its live betting system – allowing visitors to place bets to enter a special prize draw.

As one of the top three VLT suppliers, Inspired already has in excess of 7,000 VLTs live on its Open VLT™ platform with Sisal, Betplus and Lottomatica, three of Italy’s largest concessionaires, and is soon to go live with HBG and Cogetech. Open VLT has proven to be the most flexible and powerful platform in Italy, with the largest range of VLT cabinets and over 30 games already certified.

The Inspired stand will also feature seven new Comma 6a games including Merlin, Diamond Goddess, Temple of Treasure and White Knight already very popular games in several gaming markets. The Comma 6a offer includes a mono-game slot produced by Tecnoplay and a multi-game slot cabinet produced by Nazionale Elettronica. All of Inspired’s Comma 6a games are available on 74 per cent payout.
