Italy – Long-term Italian commitment from Merkur Gaming

The Merkur Gaming stand at the recent ENADA show in Rome, Italy, was jam packed with a whole world of solutions for the Italian AWP market. Alongside the already well-known games and cabinets, Merkur Gaming presented both new games and new cabinets. But first thing first: Merkur Gaming offers both single-game and multi-game solutions. ‘Merkur Strategy’ offers multi games in a market that is predominantly single-game focused. This underlines the foresight and innovation Merkur Gaming has to offer solutions that will define more the future than the present. Naturally the single games are key for the market. ‘Amazonia’ and ‘The Plünder Pack’ have already proved their worth. One of the highlights for visitors was definitely the presentation of the new single game ‘Pirates Arrr Us’.
The ENADA Roma was the perfect opportunity to introduce a brand new AWP cabinet – designed in Italy with market information directly from both Italian operators and players. The ‘Motion2’ represents stylish Italian design, yet ‘made in Germany’ with all the quality certifications to go with it. This compact new AWP fits into the zeitgeist of players in Italy.
Merkur Gaming Italia has a team of over 20 employees based in Milan. The managing director, Mr. Migliozzi, sums up the ENADA ROMA, stating, “Merkur Gaming Italia’s product portfolio is continuously being enlarged with new, different games. In this way we can satisfy player needs ever better. We work with the complete range of operators – from small companies, through to medium-sized operators and naturally the large concessionaires. This gives us all the feedback required to gain all necessary information on player needs. We design our product solutions accordingly. The Motion2 was actually presented still in prototype mode. We did this on purpose to demonstrate how committed Merkur Gaming is to the Italian market and underline our future plans. This will be the first Merkur Gaming Italy cabinet designed FOR our customers, but above all WITH our customers”.
