Peru – IAGR names new officers

The International Association of Gaming Regulators, Inc. (IAGR) has announced its 2015-2016 Officers and Trustees at the 2015 Annual Business Meeting held in Lima, Peru in conjunction with its annual conference.

Bheki Mlambo of South Africa was inducted as President during the association’s conference in Lima. Mr. Mlambo is the Chief Executive Officer of the Mpumalanga Gambling Board. Dale Fuga of Canada was inducted as Vice President of IAGR. Mr. Fuga is the Chief Operating Officer of the Liquor and Gaming Authority of Manitoba. Treasurer Bruce Molnar, Vice President of the Pokagon Band Gaming Commission (USA), and Secretary Trude Felde, Senior Advisor of the Norwegian Gambling and Foundation Authority, retained their respective offices for the next two years. In addition, three new Trustees were elected to the Board.

The 2015-2016 Officers/Trustees are:

Susan Hensel, Director of Licensing, Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board
David Rebuck, Director, New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement
Birgitte Sand, Director, Danish Gambling Authority (immediate Past President)
Jerry See, Chief Executive, Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore
Fortune Sekgaphane, Chief Executive Officer, North West Gambling Board (South Africa)
A. Jack Shirley, Executive Director, Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission (Jamaica)
Nick Tofiluk, Director of Regulatory Operations, Gambling Commission (United Kingdom)

The conference, which was held October 13-15, 2015, gathered over 160 delegates from 35 countries. Among the topics covered during the conference were:

The conference featured an opening address from the Vice Minister of the Peru Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, and special keynote addresses by James Maida, CEO & President, Gaming Laboratories International LLC, and by Andrew Gaughan, President, Sportech Racing and Digital.
