Russia – Pokerdom launches Pineapple OFC

Russian-facing online poker site Pokerdom has expanded its existing games offering with the addition Pineapple Open Face Chinese Poker (Pineapple OFC).
Pineapple OFC is the new poker craze that’s sweeping the globe, but it’s rarely found in online poker rooms. Connective Games, which prides itself on reacting to new trends in poker, has vowed to change that, by providing Pokerdom with the exciting new poker variant. Connective Games provides its clients with a stable, secure and scalable platform, which can be customized to their specific needs.
As with other poker games, in Pineapple OFC players take turns drawing cards from a single deck, trying to make the best possible hand. Unlike other poker games, however, there are no bets placed during the rounds of play. Instead, the players agree to play “per point” and the game is scored in points.
It’s a game for three players in which every player at a table takes one seat with three boxes for 13 cards: three cards in the front hand (the highest box); five cards in the middle hand, and five cards in the back hand (the lowest box). Players arrange their hands into poker combinations; the back hand must be stronger than or equal to the middle hand and the middle hand must be stronger than or equal to the front hand.
The goal of the game is to achieve more points than your opponents by winning more hands and also by collecting “royalties” on premium hands. These are bonuses awarded along the way for special hand combinations.
Pokerdom has said that the games have been a huge success so far, and the craze for online Pineapple OFC has been embraced by the site’s customers.
