South Africa – Garden Route launches dedicated casino radio station

Garden Route Casino has just launched its very own dedicated radio station; Garden Route Radio.

The channel will air daily throughout the complex, with presenters and music geared to the spirit and tastes of the local community. The station will feature its own DJs who will interact with casino guests and keep them informed of upcoming events and promotions at the casino.

To the knowledge of Garden Route Casino’s Marketing Manager, Karen Johnstone, Garden Route Casino is the first in the Cape to launch its own in-house radio station, so this is quite an achievement. Mossel Bay resident, Francois Conradie, who is a private collector and owner of the Mossel Bay Mini Museum, offered his collection of antique radios to display at the launch of Garden Route Radio.
