Spain – Gigames joins the Novomatic Group

Austria’s Novomatic Group, through its Spanish subsidiary Novomatic Gaming Spain, has acquired a majority shareholding in GiGames.
Through the newly announced partnership with Novomatic, Europe’s largest gaming group and a major player on the world stage, GiGames and the Conei Group are now confident of ensuring continued growth as manufacturers and distributors of gaming equipment and on expanding and improving their product offerings.
Novomatic stated: “The Novomatic management is convinced that the longstanding experience of GiGames and the Conei Group, as a local and successful manufacturer and operator, will greatly help the Company to consolidate and further enhance its future market position in the Spanish gaming sector, clearly acknowledged to be one of the most important gaming markets in Europe.”
