Sweden – Yggdrasil delivers in-game client tournament and raffle

By - 19 November 2015

Yggdrasil Gaming is launching an innovative automated tournament and raffle feature within its in-game client that will give players the opportunity to participate in various leader board competitions.

The most important aspect of this new functionality is that the leader board and raffle engine, which is displayed as a pick’n click game, is within the game client. This means there is no need for operators to steer customers away to external websites displaying the leader boards.

Both the in-game leader board and in-game raffle are excellent acquisition and retention tools, giving operators the chance to create a more competitive environment within the games.

They are part of ‘Boost’, Yggdrasil’s collection of promotional tools which also includes Super Free Spins, the unique concept which has proven to be hugely popular with both players and operators since launching in May. Yggdrasil has focused heavily on gamification this year through its Infinite API. The new tournament and raffle function will be on the iSENSE 2.0 platform and will be available for all Yggdrasil games.

Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming, said: “Gamification plays a crucial role in our strategy and the tournament and raffle feature is the next phase in our delivery of the most powerful acquisition and retention tools for our partners. Super Free Spins has been a massive success story and we’re really proud to be launching this latest functionality to complement it. A number of our partners are really excited about the potential of these new concepts – the first tournament will be live very soon, so watch this space.”

Yggdrasil’s portfolio contains a wide range of popular casino games, including: Chibeasties, Cyrus the Virus, Cazino Zeppelin, Jokerizer, Winterberries, Reef Run, Dark Joker Rizes, Vikings Go Wild, progressive jackpot Joker Millions, Holmes and the Stolen Stones and Doubles.”
