Global content creator, producer and distributor, Endemol Shine Group, has announced a management re-organisation within its commercial divisions.

Endemol Shine Group’s Yannick Ferrero, formerly Senior Director, Digital Monetisation, and Jane Smith, formerly Director, Brand Licensing & Strategy, will grow their respective areas.

Mr. Ferrero has been promoted to Group Director, Commercial Operations and his role will extend to incorporate the gaming and brand licensing divisions in addition to his existing digital remit. Mr. Ferrero will oversee the Group’s commercial revenues across all these areas, bringing gaming and gambling, brand licensing and digital specialities closer together.

Jane Smith, has been promoted to the new broader role of Group Director, Brand Licensing and Gaming. Smith will report into Ferrero, and will be responsible for managing both divisions, with the remit to supercharge the Group’s commercial performances of their brands across these areas.

Bringing their complementary skills and experience to the gaming and gambling division, Ferrero and Smith will spearhead Endemol Shine Group’s commercial growth and operations. Together they will maximise the commercial potential of these areas, delivering greater cohesion across the broader Endemol Shine commercial business.

Both will work closely with Endemol Shine Gaming’s Commercial Director Mark Woollard, who will continue to drive growth in this area, and support the divisions within Endemol Shine Gaming including the games studio and newly launched games platform Playzido.

Wim Ponnet, Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer, Endemol Shine Group, said: “Yannick and Jane have done an exceptional job growing our digital and brand licensing operations. Endemol Shine Gaming is in great shape, with exciting growth opportunities, and Yannick and Jane are perfectly placed to build on this success and maximise the commercial potential of our IP.”

After nine years with the company, Owain Walbyoff, MD of Endemol Shine Gaming, is departing to head up the London office of a neurotechnology start up.

Endemol Shine Gaming is behind a diverse portfolio of games that have been distributed worldwide across a variety of formats including online, land based and social, including those based on popular Endemol Shine Group formats such as The Million Pound Drop, The Money Drop and Big Brother and third-party projects including Austin Powers and Dumb and Dumber.
