UK – Clarion partners with GamCrowd for London Technology Week

By - 11 June 2016

Clarion Events, organisers of ICE Totally Gaming, will be the Official Start-Up Partner of GamCrowd’s one-day conference on June 21 as part of London Technology Week.

Taking place at the Hippodrome, Leicester Square, the conference demonstrates how dynamic the gambling tech scene is, providing a deeper understanding of the sector for people from inside and outside the industry.

Phill Graham, Chief Technology Officer at Gamesys, Will Mace, Unibet and Hans Lombardo, Chain Finance are just a few of the leading lights from the online tech scene participating in the event.
Jo Mayer, Marketing Director, Clarion Events, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with GamCrowd who we already work successfully with across a number of our events including ICE Totally Gaming, EiG and GiGse running features dedicated to start-ups and entrepreneurs.

There is extensive innovation within the gambling industry – new companies, new ideas, new products and new perspectives – which is highlighted at the Pitch ICE feature taking place at ICE Totally Gaming where 20 start-ups are given a platform to present their ideas and innovations. We welcome any opportunity to be involved in initiatives which showcase how the gambling sector is leading the way.”

Chris North, Chief Executive of GamCrowd, said: “Having been involved in the London tech scene for some years now I noticed a lack of knowledge about the gambling industry amongst other sectors. Our one-day conference is about starting that conversation and is aimed at people from all sectors. We need to do a better job at promoting what a great sector we are so we can attract different ideas from other sectors and show the best tech and creative talent what they are missing. We are pleased to be continuing our established relationship with Clarion Events.”

The one-day conference is the first time a gambling specific conference has taken place as part of London Technology Week.
