By - 12 December 2017

With the EAG International & VAE 2018 scheduled for January 16 to 18, leading manufacturers and distributors from the amusements and play sectors will be finalising their product presentations and preparing to meet buyers from around the world.

Organiser Karen Cooke has reported a sharp increasing in exhibitor numbers for the 2018 event, the ninth in the show’s history. “The level of interest from potential exhibitors has increased dramatically; we’ve already signed-up 11 first-time exhibitors and we’re in discussions with several more,” she said.

New signings include: Cogan Kiddie Rides, Fun Share Game, Game Fun, Grupo Famai, Home Leisure Direct, Industrias Lorenzo, Nayax, Popppy UK, Sano UK, TAB Austria and VR Acquisitions Ltd.

“We’re particularly pleased that more than half of our new exhibitors are from overseas , hailing from as far away as China and the USA. They will be showcasing products from a wide range of categories, including health and safety equipment, components, F&B, software and systems as well as rides and amusement products. There is little doubt that the show is now appealing to the wider leisure community,” continued Mrs Cooke.

Popppy UK is the recently started UK division of the German popcorn vending specialist. The company’s Nikolaus Plange is clearly enthusiastic about attending EAG International & VAE; “We have a unique popcorn which is both fat free and suitable for vegans. We’re looking forward to presenting our vending proposition to visitors to the show,” confirms Nikolaus.

Guangzhou based games developer and manufacturer Funshare Game will also be premiering at the show. The company has revealed that it’s hoping to find a strong UK or European distributor to develop and expand its presence in Europe.

SANO UK is a supplier of lifting and moving equipment and also mobility products. Managing Director Peter Simmons confirms that the company will be showing a range of compact high capacity load carriers, designed to increase productivity and enhance safety in a wide range of environments.
