UK – Zach Naim joins Plumbee’s team as Product Manager

By - 19 March 2015

Social Games developer Plumbee this week announces two new high-profile additions to its London-based office: Zach Naim, who joins as mobile product manager, and Peter Goodman, who comes on board as a non-executive director.

Mr. Naim arrives at Plumbee from Playtika, where he managed popular Facebook slots app Caesars Casino. He will join Plumbee’s existing product team, with a specific focus on Mirrorball Slots: Kingdom of Riches on iOS and Android.

Gerald Tan, Plumbee’s co-founder and CPO said: “Zach is an impressive and talented individual who has achieved great things in his career so far. We’re happy to welcome him aboard.”

Mr. Naim added: “I’m delighted to be joining Plumbee and am looking forward to the challenges and achievements ahead, but most of all I’m excited to be working in an energetic and creative environment with a team of really brilliant people.”

Meanwhile, Goodman will replace former Betfair and King CFO Owen O’Donnell on Plumbee’s Board of Directors. O’Donnell served almost three years as Independent Director on the startup’s Board, but retired from the position in January. Goodman is a successful tech entrepreneur and former Salesforce.com VP. He founded social marketing software start-up Brighter Option, which was acquired by Buddy Media in 2012, which in turn was bought by Salesforce.com.

Plumbee launched in June 2011, and its flagship Mirrorball Slots game has attracted over 10m downloads across Facebook and mobile, with over a million monthly active users. The new additions reflect Plumbee’s philosophy of growing its team by seeking to attract highly-creative and dynamic individuals.

Raf Keustermans, CEO and Co-founder of Plumbee said: “I’m very happy to welcome Peter to our Board. He is an experienced serial entrepreneur who has been through all the highs and lows of startup life. He is an expert in social marketing, knows how to build strong teams and companies and is very well connected in both Europe and the US.

“I also want to state my appreciation for all the hard work Owen O’Donnell did for us. He joined us in the very early days of Plumbee and was an invaluable advisor and mentor who brought a lot of value to the company.”

Mr. Goodman said: “I feel honoured to be part of such an exciting and dynamic young company. I have huge respect for everyone at Plumbee and what they’ve achieved over the last few years, and I look forward to playing a part in this remarkable success story for many years to come.”
