US – AGS has Colossal Diamonds approved for Nevada

By - 12 February 2016

AGS has received approval in Nevada for its popular Colossal Diamonds slot machine, which is often referred to as Big Red because of the larger-than-life size of its cabinet, roughly the size of three standard cabinets, and signature red colour.

The approval comes after a successful field trial on the Las Vegas Strip at Paris Las Vegas and Caesars Palace.

“Colossal Diamonds has experienced monumental growth over the past 12 months, more than tripling its install base due to consistently stellar performance in nearly every property it has been placed,” said Andrew Burke, Vice President of Slot Products for AGS. “The opportunity to launch ‘Big Red’ in such an important gaming market like Nevada is huge and we are very confident about its prospects and its performance in the state.”

Colossal Diamonds has been a top performer for AGS with nearly 250 placements across 17 states including Mohegan Sun in CT, Winstar in OK, Pechanga in CA, and Hard Rock Tampa in FL, to name a few. With its 3-reel single payline and large, vibrant graphics, Colossal Diamonds draws its success from its simple and classic gameplay that awards appealing and frequent payouts. The Company anticipates even further approvals for the game as part of its corporate strategy to continue expanding into new jurisdictions with its diverse product library.

AGS currently has approxomately 40 signed contracts in the state of Nevada for Colossal Diamonds and, now that the game is approved, installations have already begun, with the first placements at The Venetian, Planet Hollywood, Bally’s, South Point, and Green Valley Ranch, to name a few.

The Company has also launched a play-for-fun version of Colossal Diamonds on its popular social casino app Lucky Play Casino. In only a few weeks since its debut, Colossal Diamonds has already become Lucky Play’s most popular game due to its strong entertainment value, pixel-perfect ultra HD graphics, and high-fidelity sounds that mimic its land-based slot machine counterpart.
