US – GiGse continues to hit the high notes as C-Suiters book for Miami

By - 16 April 2018

GiGse continues to prove itself as the ‘must attend’ event for North American facing senior gaming professionals with 73 per cent of delegates registered for this year’s edition classified as being Director or above.

The concentration of ‘C-Suiters’ is amongst the highest found in the Clarion Gaming portfolio and on a similar standing to the Latin American facing Juegos Miami, which is co-located alongside GiGse for the first time this year (The Miami Biltmore: May 31 to June 1).

Reflecting on the figures, Event Director, Greg Saint, said: “Since its inception, GiGse has been pitched at decision makers operating at the highest level, and our campaign theme of putting ‘North American gambling, gaming and betting under the microscope’ reflects these credentials. To have such a significant proportion of delegates occupying the most senior of positions within their organisations reflects the seriousness with which all elements within the north American facing industry view GiGse.”

He added: “The topics that will be debated and analysed in Miami go to the very heart of the key issues facing the US industry. These include the monetization of sports betting, iGaming in Pennsylvania, an examination of the Tribal Gaming stance, the role of technology in growing the gaming industry outside of regulatory boundaries, as well as a panel looking at the pace of online gambling regulation and consumer attitudes towards it. In addition, GiGse aims to explore the shortage of scientific and entrepreneurial talent within the US gaming industry. We also have the GiGse LaunchPad competition, at which five start-ups will have the opportunity to present their ideas in front of an investors panel, with the eventual winners determined by the GiGse audience. The LaunchPad competition has provided a platform for a number of really successful entrepreneurial businesses, not least BlueBat Games, NumberFire and the 2017 winners, nQube, which specializes in the development of artificial intelligence-based algorithms and software.”

The list of C-Level attendees at GiGse 2018 hail from an eclectic community of commercial organisations, regulatory boards and strategic representative associations, including; AB Svenska Spel, Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resorts, Arena Football League,Bermuda Casino Gaming Commission, British Columbia Lottery Corporation, Chalkline Sports, Chickasaw Nation Office of the Gaming Commissioner, Daly Gaming, Delaware North, Digital Leisure Inc., Ecom Access, Eilers & Krejcik Gaming, EquiLottery, Fortress Investment Group, Gaming Laboratories International, Hard Rock International, Hobbs, Straus, Dean & Walker, LLP, iGaming Capital, Independent Content Services, Jacks Entertainment, Konami Gaming Inc, Mohegan Sun, New Resorts Digital, nQube Data Science, Paddy Power Betfair, Payvision, Pearl River Resort, Penn National Gaming, Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, Pinnacle, The Lengel Group LLC, Treasure Island Resort and Casino and William Hill US.

The selected finalists will receive an exhibition space in the Start-Up Zone in the GiGse Exhibition area, and two complimentary delegate passes.
