US – Harrah’s Philadelphia begins 48 hour sportsbook test

Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack in Chester began its 48-hour test period for sports betting operations on January 22, becoming the sixth operational sportsbook in Pennsylvania.

Known as The Book, it is located at the back of the casino floor and features 11 high-top tables, 19 lounge seats, over 45 large screen TVs and a bar.

Chris Albrecht, Harrah’s Philadelphia Senior Vice President & General Manager, said: “We are excited to bring sports betting to Delaware County and allow our guests from the tri-state area to experience our property in a whole new way.
“With our gaming offering, live harness racing, our event center, award-winning restaurants and now the sportsbook, Harrah’s Philadelphia remains a must visit destination in the Philadelphia region.”

The Harrah’s sportsbook will accept wagers on a variety of sports including basketball, football, hockey, soccer, baseball and college athletics.
