CG Technology and Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment, the popular racing and entertainment facility located in New Jersey, are launching a free to play, real time baseball contest.

CG Technology’s technology and systems are powering the contest, utilising real time information and results to ensure continual action and excitement for contestants during all 16 weeks of the regular baseball season.

The contest launches May 11, 2015 and runs until August 30, 2015. Each week Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment will award a cash prize of $250 to the player who has earned the most points from the previous week. At the end of the regular baseball season, a Grand Prize of $3,000 and 2nd place prize of $1,000 will be awarded to the two season long winners who accumulate the most points.

“We are excited to partner with Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment and utilise the strength of our technology to power this real time, free to play baseball contest,” said Lee Amaitis, President and CEO of CG Technology. “We look forward to offering baseball fans and customers of The New Meadowlands Racetrack a unique and exciting experience this summer.”

“We are committed to offering our customers a premier baseball contest and entertainment experience when they visit Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment. We selected CG Technology as a natural partner of choice due to their state-of-the-art technology which has proven popular with our patrons in the past,” said Jason Settlemoir, CEO & General Manager of Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment.

CG Technology and the Meadowlands Racetrack have partnered together previously, offering sports enthusiasts the opportunity to play in a football contest and March Madness contest.
