US – Organisers cancel Caribbean Gaming Show in support of Juegos Miami vision

By - 22 January 2016

The organisers of the Caribbean Gaming Show (CGS), have confirmed its cancellation in support of Juegos Miami, the new bespoke, targeted business event for the Pan-Latin American and Caribbean gaming industry, which launches this year in Miami (The Biltmore, Coral Gables, 31 May – 3 June). CGSCEO and Owner, Elizabeth Leiva, has agreed to work on the Juegos Miami brand in order to develop content, secure speakers and help attract C-Level executives and government decision makers to the prestigious event.

Reflecting on the landmark decision, Juegos Miami, joint organiser, Courtney Muller of Urban Expositions said: “This is a hugely significant development which serves, not only as an endorsement of the vision which is driving Juegos Miami, but also recognises the desire of the industry to reduce the number of events on the industry calendar.

“Through this important process of consolidation, we will be able to save the industry money in what are challenging times and continue to deliver high quality events alongside enhanced ROI.”

Organised jointly by Clarion Events and Urban Expositions, Juegos Miami is a totally new concept in gaming and whose foundation stones are relationship building and C-Level networking, set against a strong commercial backdrop. An invitation only event, Juegos Miami will attract industry leaders including top decision makers, key operators, legislators, major buyers and business owners. As well as featuring the latest product innovations, Juegos Miami will include a multi-stream conference programme, social and networking events and training for both land-based and online sectors of the gaming.
