US – Parx to take slot quota to 3,500

By - 26 October 2015

Pennsylvania’s Parx Casino has confirmed the first part of a multi-phase expansion project for its bustling Bucks County property.

The first phase expansion, slated to open by the end of 2015, will add new slot machines and live table games, a swanky lounge, a gift shop and pristine new restrooms.

Since its opening in 2009, this is the first property-wide expansion adding enticing new guest amenities into Parx Casino. The jewel of this expansion phase will be Xlounge, an ultramodern luxury lounge featuring superior cocktail and craft beer offerings, a high-end menu, luxury design finishes and additional gaming. Located in an airy new enclave of the casino floor, it will impress and entertain guests daily.

The expanded new gaming floor will boast over 3,500 slot machines and over 200 live table games. As part of the development, Parx will introduce 700 new slot games in addition to a series of new hybrid, live dealer table games such as Shaquille O’Neal’s Shaq Blackjack with $5 minimum live wagers. The approved expansion plan increases Parx Casino’s blueprint totaling 176,592 square feet of gaming floor while creating a more comfortable and spacious environment.

“As one of the nation’s top casinos, we pride ourselves in offering our guests a superior gaming and entertainment experience,” says Anthony Faranca, General Manager of Parx Casino. “It’s always important for us to deliver an exceptional customer experience – and equally important to offer the highest quality gaming and exciting amenities.” Future phases of the master expansion plan will continue into 2016 with additional amenities for guests to enjoy.
