US – Williams launches games in New Jersey

By - 16 June 2014

Williams Interactive’s library of casino game content is live and taking wagers in New Jersey, an approved North American online gaming jurisdiction, following the recent launch with gaming sites powered by the Gamesys Group platform in New Jersey.

These online casinos, Virgin Casino and Tropicana Atlantic City Online, now offer New Jersey iGaming players access to a familiar library of authentic Las Vegas-style slot games through integration with the Williams Interactive Remote Game Server. Available games include Gold Fish, Super Jackpot Party and games made popular in terrestrial casinos throughout North America by Williams Interactive sister company WMS Gaming. Player-favourite games Raging Rhino, Giant’s Gold, Zeus III and more, are expected to launch in the coming months.

Orrin Edidin, Group Chief Executive for Williams Interactive, said: “This is an exciting milestone in our mission to provide the world’s most compelling iGaming entertainment. With a library of content that has long been amongst the most popular on casino floors throughout the U.S. and Canada, providing this authentic casino content library online for New Jersey players for the first time is a proud accomplishment for Williams Interactive.”

The New Jersey iGaming launch is the first of several North American launches expected from Williams Interactive throughout 2014, including the integration of its Remote Game Server with additional online gaming providers in New Jersey such as the previously announced deal with bwin.party supporting online casinos using the Borgata iGaming licenses. In 2014, Williams Interactive also expects to provide its library of world-famous casino content to online casinos in Delaware following its selection as a vendor by the Delaware State Lottery in 2013. Additionally, Williams Interactive plans to enter the Canadian online gaming market later this year as part of its deal with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.

“We’re enthusiastic for the additional North American launches expected this year, and the benefits our casino customers will see from the ongoing convergence of online and offline casino entertainment that our game library empowers.” Mr. Edidin added.
