£122,000 blackjack jackpot at Grosvenor Casino Glasgow Riverboat
Grosvenor Casino Glasgow Riverboat is celebrating a major win after James Taylor Gray, a full-time father from Rutherglen, walked away with a £122,000 jackpot while playing Blackjack.
Gray, who visits the casino occasionally, landed the top prize when both he and the dealer revealed an Ace and King of hearts, triggering the jackpot in spectacular fashion. Initially thinking he had won £500 like the other players at the table, Gray was stunned to learn the full extent of his prize.
“When I was told it was the jackpot, everything else was a blur,” Gray said. “I couldn’t believe it, I think the only thing I remember saying was ‘you’re kidding?’”
Gray intends to put his winnings to practical and personal use, supporting his growing family ahead of the birth of his second child this July. He also plans to book a holiday and invest part of the prize.
Mark McCluskey, General Manager at Grosvenor Casino Glasgow Riverboat, added: “It was an unforgettable moment. The whole casino was celebrating with James, and we’re thrilled to share in his excitement. Congratulations to him and his family.”
Situated along the River Clyde, Grosvenor Casino Glasgow Riverboat offers a premium gaming experience, including Blackjack, Roulette and Poker, alongside live entertainment in an iconic setting.
