The Argelès-Gazost casino, in the French region of Hautes-Pyrénées, has undergone a major facelift to offer its visitors a more immersive experience. The casino, operated by the Tranchant group, opened its new gaming room and new electronic English roulette at the end of March. €250,000 was invested in this work, which lasted several weeks.

Sandrine Boulanger, the venue’s director, said to Journal des Casinos: “We have renovated the entire gaming room, from floor to ceiling. The reception area has been redesigned, the gaming areas optimized, and a touch of modernity has been added thanks to a more elegant and welcoming decor. The goal is to offer an even more pleasant setting to our visitors, whether they are gaming enthusiasts or simply looking for an entertaining evening. We cut back on the reception room to enlarge the gaming room, which allowed us to double its surface area. It now measures 100 m2.”

The Tranchant establishment, which has 50 slot machines, two electronic Blackjack stations, and a Blackjack table, also took advantage of this opening evening to unveil to its visitors its new six-station Winsystems English roulette table, commissioned by SFM CAT. This new offering, combined with the expansion of the gaming room, will significantly improve the customer experience, comes at just the right time. Indeed, with the arrival of the warmer weather, the casino’s program, whose concession runs until 2031, promises to be lively. “

We will celebrate the casino’s thirty-third anniversary during the first week of August. On this occasion, we plan to organize concerts, karaoke, and movie screenings in the casino grounds,” Ms Boulanger added.

At the end of the 2023-2024 financial year, the Argelès-Gazost casino generated gross gaming revenue of €1.67m, putting it in 193rd place in the French rankings.
