Argentina – Buenos Aires casinos finally get green light to reopen

Having been closed for seven months, some of Buenos Aires gambling operators have finally been able to reopen with Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo and the Casino Buenos Aires, located in Puerto Madero, both now welcoming back guests.

The reopening follows agreement by the authorities of the Buenos Aires Lottery (LOTBA) and the city’s Health Minister, Fernán Quirós. that venues will operate at between 20 per cent or 30 per cent of their capacity, depending on the type of ventilation available.

Every slot machine must be separated by plastic guards with every third machine being turned off. They must be sanitised after every players has finished playing on them. Players at table games will be separated from the dealer by acrylic shields. everyone in the venue must wear a mask or mask, and non-gambling persons will not be allowed into the room.
