Argentina – GLI holds successful seminar during SAGSE Argentina

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has been bringing more gaming education to Latin America and the Caribbean, where the company recently completed an incredibly successful Argentinean Regulators Seminar during SAGSE.
The seminar, produced under the company’s GLI University program, drew 37 regulators from across Argentina’s nine gaming jurisdictions. The seminar covered today’s most relevant topics for the region, including new regulations, sports betting, forensics, carbon footprints, data center architecture and ISS, and verification tools features.
In addition to critical programming for regulators, the event featured a Regulators Open Forum, at which 15 supplier representatives were able to gain even greater understanding of regulators’ main concerns and challenges in this growing and competitive industry.
Education has been a critical part of GLI’s mission to provide more than just testing in Latin America and the Caribbean. Between September’s Latin American Roundtable and the Argentinean Regulators Seminar, GLI brought together more than 90 representatives from regulatory entities and state lotteries from 25 jurisdictions across the region.
GLI Director of Latin American Development Karen Sierra-Hughes said: “This seminar brings to an end an incredibly successful year for GLI in Latin American and the Caribbean. We continue to be absolutely committed to this region, and we are very pleased to be the only gaming laboratory that is bringing so much more than just testing to Latin America and the Caribbean, from educational events to many other professional services. We are already planning our GLI University series for 2015, and we invite the industry to keep in close contact with us to ensure they benefit as much as possible from everything GLI has to offer.”
