Argentina – Three companies in the running for new Mendoza casino

By - 16 July 2021

Three companies are in the running to develop a US$54m casino with between 600 and 900 slots in Argentina’s eastern province of Mendoza

Desarrollos Maipú, owner of the Arena casino, Traylon, who operates in San Martín, Rivadavía, Malargüe and General Alvear and Fuente Mayor, which owns the casino in the Tunuyán hotel are all still in the running. A decision is expected in the coming weeks.

The development of the new casino will see the closure of slot halls in the towns of San Martín and Rivadavia, leaving only one gaming floor in the eastern province.
