Baccarat drives strong October for Las Vegas Strip

Almost 70 per cent increase in baccarat drives overall 8.2 per cent increase on The Strip

Strong returns on baccarat and other table games helped boost gaming revenues on the Las Vegas Strip by 8.2 per cent in October, reaching $748.8m in revenue.

As a whole, Nevada‘s gaming industry generated $1.35bn in win, up five per cent from October 2024.

Baccarat on the Strip saw a 70 per cent hike to reach $116.4m with other table games increasing by ten per cent to $214.2m. Slot revenue on the Strip, meanwhile, fell by 2.4 per cent. Tourism also fell according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, who said figures for the city slipped by 4.4 per cent to 3.4m in October.  Sports betting in Nevada produced $59.3m in revenue for October.

Locals casinos were steady at $273.9m, up 0.2 per cent, whilst Downtown also plateaued, up 0.22 per cent to $86.8m.
