Bahamas – Atlantis Paradise to add VIP gaming rooms

By - 16 September 2015

The Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas has launched a two year renovation programme to upgrade several areas of the resort including adding a new high-limit casino to its gaming mix.

Owners Brookfield Asset Management, who took over the property last year, has partnered with architect interior and designer, Jeffrey Beers, for the new upgrades.

Aiming to cater for the ‘elite casino customer,’ the new VIP casino will be positioned on the existing casino floor and will boast high-limit slot machines and private gaming rooms.

The Salon Privé, high-limit casino will feature a 500-shard Swarovski crystal chandelier and a 16ft curved glass aquarium filled with exotic fish, along with high-stake table games.

Atlantis Paradise said: “This new lavish gaming destination that we are offering is what make Atlantis the most desirable hotel experience in the world.

The new VIP gaming floor is part of a resort-wide renovation requiring significant investment. The resort will remain fully operational throughout the project.

Paul Burke, Atlantis Paradise Island President and Managing Director, said: “Atlantis always strives to create the best possible vacation experience. With these modern and contemporary enhancements to two of our dining outlets, Atlantis Casino, and The Cove Atlantis, we continue to set a new standard to all our loyal and future guests.”
