Baltics – Baltics up across the board for Olympic

Olympic Entertainment Group, a fine barometer of gaming health in The Baltics, has reported increases in Gross Gaming Revenues all three Baltic countries for the first nine months of 2013.

OEG’s subsidiaries Olympic Casino Eesti AS, Olympic Casino Latvia SIA, Altea SIA and Olympic Casino Group Baltija UAB announced the revenue increases in its unaudited financial releases for the nine-month period and Q3 of 2013. 

The Estonian gaming segment saw revenues reach €23.7m for the first nine months of 2013, representing a 4.4 per cent increase compared to the first nine months of 2012. Revenues in the third quarter were up 3.7 per cent to €8.4m.

The Latvian sector was boosted by the purchase of Altea SIA in June 2013 which helped gaming revenues for the nine-month period reach €25.3m, a hike of 11.8 per cent compared to January to September 2012. Third quarter revenues were up by 25.7 per cent year-on-year.

In Lithuania revenues for the first three quarters reached €14.6m up by 8.4 per cent year-over-year, whilst results in third quarter increased by 9.4 per cent year-over-year.
