Batumi – DRGT supplies systems to Casino International Batumi

By - 20 January 2016

DRGT, a long-standing supplier to Casinos Austria International, was chosen to supply the casino management systems at the Austrian operator’s Casino International Batumi, which opened in the Hilton Batumi Hotel in October 2015.

The casino, located near the popular 6 May Park and Seaside Boulevard, offers 13 live gaming tables and 105 latest generation gaming machines, including electronic Roulette.

CAI Operations Service Manager Helmut Wede explained the company decision to ensure that DRGT systems work day-in, day-out at their new Georgian casino.

“The positive experience gained throughout the years at other locations in Switzerland and Brussels meant that we know well the systems features that DRGT offers,” he said. “The functionality, the way the systems is structured enables us to optimally manage our Slots. The decentralized system needs no central server – there is no potential single point of failure. DRGT systems are extremely reliable.”

“The installation was carried out in a very professional way – DRGT again impressed us with their excellent work ethics. The DRGT team in Graz and the installation engineer did a great job. DRGT is particularly strong in its jackpot systems solutions and we are making good use of these,” continued Mr. Wede.

Joost van Egeraat, DRGT Sales European Director, said: “We are extremely proud of the continuing strong relationship we have with CAI. We are dedicated in providing the right systems solutions for all our customers from our modular and flexible range. The vibrant city of Batumi is becoming a magnet for the casino industry and the fact that we installed our systems in two brand new casinos there last year shows that we are at the forefront of systems technology. My thanks goes to the great CAI team in Batumi and my colleagues in Graz who worked hand-in-hand before and during installation to ensure that everything went like a Swiss clockwork.”
