Bulgaria – Balkan Gaming Expo and Eastern European Gaming Summit miss 2021 slot

By - 4 March 2021

The Balkan Gaming Expo and the Eastern European Gaming Summit have both now been delayed until next year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic

A spokesperson said: “Regrettably due to the uncertainties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the Balkan Entertaining and Gaming Expo (BEGE) and Eastern European Gaming Summit (EEGS) until the fall of 2022.

“Our priority is always the safety and health of our exhibitors, speakers and participants. By our original dates in November 2021 we had hoped, like so many, we would be largely over the Coronavirus Pandemic, and the event could still go ahead. However, it is now very clear that it is still unlikely that this be the case and many people will still be facing travel disruption and restrictions during 2021. Please be assured that we will closely monitor the latest public health and Government advice regarding Covid-19 and will adhere to their direction. We will actively stay in communication with you and issue updates regarding the new dates for BEGE and EEGS in 2022.”
