Canada – Suzo Happ’s Canadian facility gains accreditation

By - 7 June 2016

Suzo Happ is pleased to announce that its Canadian facility has obtained the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.

Suzo Happ has an effective quality management system to guide its operations and this is vital to the success of the business. The ISO 9001 certification is an important step in Suzo Happ’s commitment to excellence and is further evidence that Suzo Happ provides quality, high-performing products able to meet the demands of the markets. Specifically in the Canadian facility Suzo Happ manufactures the Bill-toBill currency management systems and the MFL bill validator.

Both product lines have become industry standards in terms of reliability, performance and customer satisfaction. To become ISO 9001 certified, a company must fulfill requirements outlined by the ISO – International Standardization Organization – and must demonstrate a quality management system with the ability to consistently provide quality products enhancing customer satisfaction. The ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement (source: www.iso.org).

“We are very proud of this outstanding result. The ISO 9001 certification reflects Suzo Happ’s commitment to highest standards in quality and customer service” comments Steve Pallotta, Corporate Executive Vice President of Operations at Suzo Happ. “These are essential elements of ISO 9001:2015 and in Suzo Happ we highly value them. Congratulations to the entire team for achieving this milestone in quality and continuous improvement.”
