China – Macau’s July casino revenue running at all time post pandemic high of 68 per cent of 2019’s equivalent

Macau’s casino revenues have reached their highest total since the pandemic in July when GGR came in at US$2.06bn, according to stats from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ).
The July total saw a year-on-year increase of 4,000 per cent and marked a 9.6 per cent increase from June’s total but still drastically below the US$3.03bn generated in July 2019. July’s total is running at 68 per cent of the revenue generated in July 2019.
For the year so far, Macau’s GGR has reached US$12bn, an increase of 263 per cent for the same peirod last year but only equating to 56 per cent of the total for the same period in 2019.
