The best dealers in each game and the dealers awarded with medals of excellence earned an individual prize of MOP 5,000 in cash, while runners up received MOP 2,500.

In all, 16 properties were competing during the three days of the inaugural edition of the championship, which aims to recognise and celebrate the front line of the gaming Industry.
Local Macau properties field two teams each, and included participants from Sands China, Melco Crown Entertainment, Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (SJM), Wynn Macau and MGM Macau.

It makes sense to hold it during G2E Asia, which is THE meeting point for regulators, operators, suppliers, industry associations and representatives from across the region.”

Tournament director, Kate Young, remarked, “It’s wonderful to see the enthusiastic response from these regional casinos who are eager to showcase the talents of their front-line staff – the people who make the industry what it is and provide the all-important customer experience. This is an event that can only grow in stature and relevance going forwards.”

“Our aim is to develop an international platform for Dealers to further develop their talent and skills as they are an integral part of the gaming industry.
