China – SJM Holdings changes name of its casino subsidiary to SJM Resorts

The Board of SJM Holdings has changed the name of its principal subsidiary, Sociedade de Jogos de Macau to SJM Resorts to better reflect its bueinss in the lead up to opening its new Grand Lisboa Palace resort in Coati, Macau.
Daisy Ho, Chairman and Executive Director of SJM Holdings Limited, said: “The new name better reflects our prominent position in the tourism and leisure business and our dedication to the development and operation of integrated resorts in Macau, further underscoring our continued support to Macau’s role as a ‘world centre of tourism and leisure’.”
SJM will soon open its newest flagship Grand Lisboa Palace integrated resort on Cotai, Macau, extending the traditions of its forerunners Hotel Lisboa and Grand Lisboa, and setting a new milestone in Macau’s development.
