By - 19 May 2023

Two casinos could be built either in or close to Prague airport in Czechia.

The projects were presented on May 9 with GPC Win wanting to develop the Grand Arena complex with a hotel and an international poker hall with 140 gaming tables, 25 roulette, and blackjack tables, and up to 400 slot machines. The casino will also boast a 72-room hotel, restaurant, and bars.

Kaprain, owned by billionaire Karel Pražák, wants to open a casino behind the Pop Airport outlet that it owns in Tuchoměřice, close to the airport. His outlet already offers international clothing brands, the Majaland amusement park and the Dinosauria museum. The casinos are expected to generate tax of up to CZK100m
