Darts player Andy Jenkins banned 11 years for match-fixing
Professional darts player Andy Jenkins has been banned from all Darts Regulation Authority (DRA) events for 11 years and fined £17,580.03 after being found guilty of fixing 12 matches and sharing insider information with bettors.
The violations occurred between February 2022 and July 2023, with Jenkins also admitting to placing 88 bets on darts matches using his own account—directly breaching DRA betting rules.
The investigation was supported by the Gambling Commission’s Sports Betting Intelligence Unit (SBIU). John Pierce, Director of Enforcement at the Commission, stated: “This case sends a strong message—those who fix matches will be caught and face serious consequences.”
