Estonia – Foxium releases Cossacks: The Wild Hunt

Independent studio Foxium is proud to announce the release of Cossacks: The Wild Hunt, a new, immersive, experience that blends the suspense of online slots with the production values of triple-A videogames to create an experience unlike any other.

Cossacks tells the story of a warband of warriors whose homes have been ravaged by wild animals, corrupted by ancient magic. Together, the trio of Roman, Taras, and Yana will enter the ancient forest armed to the teeth, prepared to hunt formidable boars, wolves, and the undying bear.

As they escort the player further, the woods will shift around them to form new paths, making new use of Foxium’s patented WonderWays technology to transform the 6-reel, 6-row inner and outer reel zones and create up to 46,656 ways to win.

All Foxium games distinguish themselves through incredible artwork and music, but Cossacks: The Wild Hunt takes this signature combination of playability and presentation to new heights. A soaring soundtrack was composed specifically for the game by Jillian Aversa, who has scored critically acclaimed videogames such as Halo, Civilization, and God of War. And Roman, the Cossack warband leader and the personality of the game, is voiced by Michael Schwalbe, who players will recognise from global franchises like Transformers and Half-Life: Alyx.

Thanks to WonderWays and a raft of other features, every spin in Cossacks is unique. Blocker symbols can fall in the outer reels to prevent the heroes from making progress, but the Foxify buy-in feature will banish them, and the Cossacks’ weapons can turn the tide of battle by creating 6-of-a-kind wins or wild combinations at random. And with every winning combination triggering a cascade, the possibility increases for epic wins – each heralded by a war cry – and free spins with potentially limitless multipliers.
