Europe’s elite casino dealers gather at Casino Bregenz for the 17th European Dealer Championship
The prestigious 17th European Dealer Championship (EDC) commences today at the stunning Casino Bregenz, nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Constance.
This highly anticipated event, organized by the European Casino Association (ECA), will showcase the exceptional talents of casino dealers from 18 European countries as they compete for the coveted title of European Dealer Champion 2025.
The championship, recognized as Europe’s premier and longest-running competition of its kind, brings together elite croupiers selected through rigorous national competitions. These skilled professionals will engage in an exhilarating tournament that evaluates their technical expertise, game control, hospitality skills, and composure under pressure.
Over the course of four thrilling days, participants will not only vie for the main championship title but also compete in five specialized skill challenges that highlight the diverse talents essential for excellence in the profession. These challenges will test the dealers’ decision-making abilities, mathematical prowess, chip management, and card handling – all critical components of superior casino dealing.

The championship will culminate on June 18 with an exciting final round, followed by a celebratory winners party where the 2025 European Dealer Champion will be crowned. The champion will receive a substantial cash prize, with additional awards for runners-up and skill challenge winners.
